Team Anderson has made it six straight provincial championships, after they defeated Team Streifel 6-3, to take home the 2022 Senior Women's Provincial Championship in Aberdeen.

Team Fell's run at the Senior Men's Provincials has come to an end, after falling to Team Humble 4-2 in the 3 vs 4 game this afternoon.

Team Anderson ended her round robin at the Senior Women's Provincials with a perfect 6-0 record, as defeating Team Inglis 6-4. Team Anderson will wait for the winner of Team Arguin and Team Streifel tomorrow morning. The final will begin at 1:00 pm tomorrow.

UPDATE: 4:30 PM March 5

Team Fell will be playing in the 3 vs 4 playoff game against Team Humble at 4:30 this afternoon. Team Fell defeated Team Joyce 4-2 earlier this afternoon. Team Heidt ended their tournament losing 7-1 to Team Humble also earlier this afternoon. 

Team Sherry Anderson is still undefeated after winning 9-2 over Team Kaninski this morning. Team Anderson play Team Inglis this afternoon at 4:30. 

UPDATE: 10:00 PM March 4

Both Team Fell and Team Heidt are still alive at Senior Men's Provincials thanks to wins in the evening draw. Team Heidt knocked off Team Wilson, getting a single point in the final end to win, 3-2. Team Fell defeated Team Walter 6-2 to move to tomorrow's qualifying game at 12:30 pm. Team Fell will face Team Joyce, and Team Heidt will play Team Humble, with both teams needing to win to move onto the 3 vs 4 game, which would be against each other. 

UPDATE: 7:00 PM March 4

Team Heidt is still alive at Senior Men's Provincials in Aberdeen. The team scored four points in the final end, to take the win 8-6, after being down two. Team Heidt is on the ice tonight at 8:30 against Team Wilson needed another win to stay alive. As for Team Fell, they also need a win in the night draw to stay alive, after losing in an extra end to Team Bryden, 7-6. The team will take on Team Walter at 8:30.

Team Sherry Anderson is a perfect 4-0, after defeating Team Arguin 4-2 in this afternoon's draw in the Women's Senior Provincials. Team Anderson has two games remaining in their round robin, and will be back on the ice tomorrow morning against 2-2 Team Kaminski at 8:30. They will wrap up their round robin against Team Inglis at 4:30 pm tomorrow. 

UPDATE: 12:00 PM March 4

Team Heidt lost its game last night to Team Humble 7-0, and have now dropped to the C bracket of the triple knockout tournament. As for Team Fell, they won their game against Team Joyce last night 5-3, and are in the B Bracket. Team Heidt needs to win this afternoon Team Mass at 4:30, and the next game at 8:30 to stay alive in the tournament. Team Fell is in a better position because they only lost one game, and are in action at 12:30 against Team Bryden, with still being able to lose one game, and have a shot at the playoffs. The easier road is obviously winning, and if they win two today, will automatically go to the 1 vs 2 game tomorrow.

Brad Heidt and his team were on the ice this morning, and fell to Team McKee 8-3, to drop their overall record to 2-1 in the triple knockout Senior Provincial Curling Championships in Aberdeen. As for Team Fell, they bounced back with a 7-2 win against Team Mass early this afternoon to go to 2-1. Both Team Heidt and Team Fell will be on the ice tonight at 8:30 pm.

As for the Women's draws, Team Sherry Anderson defeated Team Hodson 9-2 in this morning's draw to up their record to 2-0. Team Anderson will be back on the ice tomorrow morning against Team Streifel at 8:30 am. 

UPDATE: 7:00 AM March 3

Another great day of curling is here, with men's and women's action continuing from Aberdeen. 

The men see a full slate beginning today, with one match of interest locally beginning the day in Team McKee taking on Team Heidt in Draw 4 at 8:30 am. Each team will play down until match-ups for Draw 7 at 8:30 pm are confirmed. Team Fell is scheduled to play during the 12:30 slate.

The women have Draw's 3 and 4 set for today, with Team Anderson also in action at 8:30 am this morning against Team Hodson for their only action of the day. Then tomorrow they are scheduled to play twice, first against Team Streifel in the morning draw, and then Team Arguin in the late one.

UPDATE: 9:00 PM March 2

Brad Heidt and his team have went to 2-0 after defeating Team Hartung 5-4, collecting two points in the final end for the victory. 

As for Team Fell, they are now 1-1 after conceding 9-1 to Team McKee.

Two teams from the west central region are off to 1-0 starts at the 2022 Senior Men's Provincials in Aberdeen. Wilkie's Lloyd Fell and his team won in a back and forth match against Team Walter this morning, and ultimately won in an extra end 7-6. As for Kerrobert's Brad Heidt and his team, they cruised to a 10-0 victory this morning against Team Wicks.

Both teams are in action tonight at 6:30, as Team Heidt will play Team Hartung, and Team Fell is up against Team McKee. 

As for Senior Women's Provincials, Sherry Anderson and her team consisting of Biggar's Anita Silvernagle at lead, won their first game this afternoon as well, taking care of Team Booker 12-1. Team Anderson returns to the ice tomorrow morning against Team Hodson at 8:30.
