The Eastern Belles will be playing in Kindersley for the first time on Wednesday presented by the Kindersley and District Arts Council. The 'super group' consists of three singer-songwriters from Prince Edward Island, Catherine MacLellan, Ashley Condon, and Meaghan Blanchard.
Each member represents one of the three counties of the Island. MacLellan is from Prince County, Condon is from Kings County, and Blanchard is from Queens County.

The trio will be playing two sets of folk tunes, and friendly banter at the Norman Ritchie Community Centre with the first starting at 8:00 PM. All three of the Belles are currently working on solo records.
The group will be testing out the new material together on this tour with other Saskatchewan stops in Estevan, and Rosthern.

Juno winner Catherine MacLellan talked about how the group was formed.

MacLellan also described Eastern Belles concerts as an amped up songwriter’s circle.

Advance tickets for the show at Norman Ritchie Community Centre can be bought online at www.ticketpro.ca or in-person at LaBelle Boutique, Integra Tire, and Lela's Music Centre. If tickets are not sold out, they will be available at the door.
