With Halloween only a week away CAA Saskatchewan would like to remind motorists and trick-or-treaters a-like to watch out for each other.

CAA recommends motorists to slow down, and encourages drivers to go 10 kilo-meters an hour slower than the posted speed limit.

Other recommendations for adults and party go-ers are to not travel through residential areas if possible, don't drink and drive and always plan a safe ride home.

For trick-or-treaters CAA recommends that parents make sure the costumes won't be a tripping hazard. They recommend putting reflective material on costumes if you're out after dark.

Other recommendations include:

- Always look both ways before crossing the street at corners, never between parked cars or the middle of the street.
- Travel in groups and never enter a strangers home if invited.
- Have an adult with you at all times.
- Plan a route, thinking of your boundaries and making sure someone knows where you are at all times.

Halloween is a wonderful time of year for those of all age groups, and CAA wants to make sure the day, and night are safe for everyone.
