The Town of Kindersley is confirming they have fixed a water main break that occurred last week.

"A friendly heads up that the water line break at the River has been repaired as of Friday afternoon." stated the Town on social media.

That means Kindersley is now back to pulling water from their primary source at the river, after being forced to pump through their secondary source at the CN Reservoir for a short time.

"We are no longer pulling from the CN Reservoir. The water will be back to normal in taste/smell soon." they shared Monday at around 7:00 PM.

The water was perfectly fine for drinking and other uses, though a corn-like smell and off-taste was often described by residents. The Town wanted to assure people that the secondary source goes through the same water-treatment procedures as the main.

The Town thanks people for their patience these past few days.
