The Town of Leader will be performing some work to their water system on Tuesday and Wednesday.

They are flushing their water lines, something done annually to clean the distribution system water mains of sediments that have accumulated inside the pipe.

Town of Leader uses this method to ensure water safety and quality. They note that users can expect cloudy or murky water and also may experience low pressure at the same time. They ask you refrain from doing laundry while lines in your area are being flushed.

It's important to note that water discoloration is temporary, and not a health risk.

Following this process, checking all tap screens to ensure they are properly cleaned of debris, and cooperating with the rest of the directions above would be greatly appreciated from the staff at the Town of Leader.
