Two deaths and 405 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in the province Wednesday, along with 256 recoveries.

Of the new cases, seven are in the central-west, 98 are in Saskatoon, 78 are in the north-central zone, 71 are in the far northeast, 39 in the northwest, 22 in the far northwest, 17 in Regina, 14 in the northeast, 10 are located in the central-east,, six in the southeast, four in the south-central, three in the far north-central, and two in the southwest. 34 of the new cases are pending resident information.

86.7% of the new cases are among those not fully vaccinated.

3,331 cases are considered active, and 181 people are in hospital with 149 receiving inpatient care, and 32 are in intensive care.

Of the 181 in hospital, 135 (74.6%) are not fully vaccinated.

There were also 8 recoveries in the central west zone, bringing the active cases to 74.

63 of the 74 active cases are in sub-region 'central west 1,' which is made up of Kindersley and Rosetown.
