The Unity Music Festival began on Monday April 3rd, and kicked off with excellent theatre acts, as well as voice/vocals.

This wonderful festival is all about variety this year, and will allow the performers to show their true talent with solo performances as well as in a band.

The piano performances kicked off on April 4th and will continue every day until April 6th. The theatre and voice acts began on April 3rd and will run until April 6th. During the morning of April 4th, the Unity United Church - school and band will be doing a show, and on the morning of the 5th there will be another performance put on by St. Peters School.

Thus far, the performances have been absolutely amazing with full crowds for every event. The crowds will continue to fill up for the rest of the events, especially on the final event on the Sunday.

There is so much to see during this four day period, and will include a little bit of everything for the crowd. With a two day break, the final performances will take place on Sunday April 9th. The Unity Public School will have their final performances on the last day of the music festival.

The students and bands have been practising all year for this festival, and have been waiting patiently all year to show what they have learned. Many students will continue to practise playing or singing whatever they enjoy, because they really do have a love for music.

Unity's Music Festival has been going on for over 90 years, and this one is the 91st Unity Music Festival. Some students have been performing in this festival for serveral years, while others are getting their first real taste of the famous music festival. It is one of Saskatchewan's oldest and most appreciated music festival, and will continue to be for years.
