Whether people chose to spend it at the lake or in their home community, this past Saturday was a terrific one to celebrate Canada Day.
Those who stuck around in Kindersley were able to engage in a day of fun at Baker Park put on by Better Together. At the museum there was a special Canada Day Flag Raising and Colour Guard Ceremony.
The fireworks went off at night as swirling winds slowly brought some nasty weather to the area. Other communities saw the weather take over and affect their local show to some degree.
