The Kerrobert Rebels Junior Boys Basketball Team has earned a spot in the Final Four at the Battle West District Basketball Championship after their 2nd place win in the Pre-District Tournament this past weekend.

They traveled to John Paul II in North Battleford yesterday to play off against the top 4 teams in the division.

The Unity Composite High School senior boys basketball team as they defeated Legacy Christian Academy 65-50 to capture the LCA tournament this past weekend.

They also defeated Norquay and Birch Hills in great games to go 3 and 0 on the weekend.

Feb 7 & 8 the Spartan Sr Girls and Boys hosted a combined tournament and it was a great weekend of basketball.

The Spartan Ladies played the first game on Friday night, defeating the Rosetown Royals. They also played the 9:00 game against the Maidstone Mustangs and came away with the win. In their third game of the tournament, they took on the Luseland Lords and came away with another win.

The Spartan Boys opened with a very intense game against the Davidson Raiders, with the lead exchanging hands until the last few seconds of the game with Davidson edging the Spartans.
On Saturday, the boys, led by Coach Hoult and Coach Whitell, went on to defeat both Rosetown and Kindersley, coming away with a loss and 2 wins.
