Atom teams in the West Central region were in action this past weekend with some successful results. First the Atom Western Prairie Thunder were at a tournament in Delisle and went undefeated on Saturday to win the A side of the tournament.

The Kindersley Full Tilt Klippers atom team was in action as well and split their games this weekend. First up, were the Kindersley Lynco Hot Oilers Kobras on Friday, and in a high scoring game, the Klippers fell 11-9. Dayson Kosolofski scored six goals in the loss and Maxwell Douglas got all 11 goals for the Lynco Hot Oilers Kobras in the win. The Klippers bounced back on Saturday with a 16-3 win over Rosetown to even up their record on the weekend.

The Klippers have a 5-1-1 record early on this season. As for the Lynco Hot Oilers atom Kobras, their record is 3-3 after six games. The Kindersley Atom 1 team is 7-0 and the Big Rack Vack Prairie Thunder sit at 1-4-1 to round out the 4 atom teams in Kindersley. The Macklin Atom White team is undefeated as well at 7-0 and the Kerrobert Tigers Atom team is 5-2 to round up the top teams in Atom in the West Central area.

In other minor hockey action the Kindersley Midget Klippers had a busy weekend with 3 games at home. First up on the schedule was the KDL Midgets and the Kindersley squad shutout the Tigers 3-0. Trey Tuffs, Blake Sautner, and Brody Gasmo scored in the victory for Kindersley and Reed Sitter got the shutout. Kindersley was right back at it on Saturday, and played the Dinsmore Dynamos Midget team and this time, fell, 7-5. And finally on Sunday, the Macklin Midget Mohawks were in town and once again the Klippers lost, this time 7-3 to go 1-2 on the weekend. Kindersley has a 3-4-2 record in 9 games with Preston Edgerton leading the team in scoring with 11 goals and 13 points in 7 games played. Caleb Bacon is right behind with 13 points as well, to go along with 9 assists. Brody Gasmo is in third with 11 points to round up the top 3. Macklin leads the Midget division with a perfect 9-0 record with Eston right behind at 5-1-1 and Dinsmore in third with a 4-1-2 record.

And finally, the Kindersley Pee Wee 2 team was in action with a couple of games, first against Dodsland, and in a route, the team won 15-1 at home. And then in a much closer matchup, Kindersley tied the Wilkie/Biggar Pee Wees 6-6 to wrap up their weekend at 1-0-1. Austin Schafer leads the team with 27 points and Tyce Perkins leads the team in goals with 15 and is second with 21 points. As for the Kindersley 1 team, two games were on the schedule, first up were the Dinsmore Dynamos Pee Wee team, and Kindersley won 7-5. Then on Sunday the Macklin Pee Wee White team was in town and in a close game, Kindersley lost 2-1. Jayden Holland leads the team is goals with 7 and points with 8. Kindersley 1 has a 3-3-1 record to sit in 6th place and Kindersley 2 has a 5-1-2 record to sit in 2nd place behind the Macklin Pee Wee White team who is 6-0. The Eston Pee Wee Ramblers are undefeated as well with a 5-0 mark and Outlook is right behind with a 4-1-2 record and Wilkie/Biggar has the same record to round up the top 5 in the Pee Wee division.
