The U22 Western Prairie Klippers season has come to an end after a 7-1 loss at the hands of the SJFHL’s best team, the Saskatoon Prairie Blaze. The bright spot from the game for the Klippers was the stellar goaltending of Eston native Rilyn Roadhouse who made an incredible 46 saves on 53 shots. The lone goal scored for the WP Klippers was by Plenty native Laiken Swan, her 16th goal in 18 games played for the team.  

The Klippers will now shift focus to league playoffs, as they will begin March 8 in Outlook. The team will face the host Ice Hawks for a 4 vs 5 game at 5:30 pm March 8 at the Jim Kook Rec Plex. At 8:00 pm the action turns to the 3rd vs 6 game. The winners from Friday’s game will play on Saturday in the semifinals. 

Saturday, March 9 semifinal action begins at 2:00 pm with 1st place vs the winner of 4th/5th game. The other semi-final at 5:00 pm has the 2nd place vs the winner of 3rd/6th game. 

The semi-final winners will advance to Sunday, March 10 winner take all game at 3:00 pm.
