The U13 AA Western Prairie Thunder were a perfect three for three over the weekend. All games were in the West Central region, with in Kindersley on Friday and two in Rosetown on Saturday and Sunday respectively. 

The Thunder started off with a big 13-2 win over the visiting Swift Current Wildcats Friday including four goals from Ira Calkins and Jalaa Moore Jagow.

Saturday saw a 7-3 win with Jagow collecting a hat trick this time around. Also having a big game was Charleigh Johnston who had two goals and an assist.

And wrapping up on Sunday against the Northwest Sharks, the Thunder won 9-5, with Ira Calkins getting a hat trick, and Johnston getting two goals and two assists to lead the way.

The 9-1 Thunder have a pair of road games this weekend, starting off against the Northeast Aces in Nipawin Saturday at 3:45 pm. Then the Girls will head to Prince Albert to play the Foxes on Sunday at 4:00 pm. 

There was also a special game held in Macklin over the weekend, as the U11 Western Prairie Kindersley team and the Western Prairie Macklin team battling it out for bragging rights with Kindersley coming out on top.
