Approximately 300 people attended a quick lunch and exciting draw for "Win the Bin" yesterday in the Kindersley Elks Hall parking lot.

$1469 was raised for the West Central Abilities day home, who put on the barbecue portion of the event, and had local town dignitaries helping out at the grill.

West Central Online's Chris Omness was on scene reporting, as him and our morning show hosts Aaron Harle (Country 104) and Devin Brown (Classic Hits) spent some nice time with farmers, and conducted some great interviews with sponsors.

First off, Aaron Harle spoke with Brian Francis with the local Ford dealership in town:

Aaron then caught up with one of the farmers who made it out to the event in Jeremy German, to talk about how things are looking at the moment on his farm:

Farmers like German are always enticed by new equipment, and Devin Brown spoke with Daryl Davis out of Rosetown who deals with heavy farm tools such as the one seen in the clip below:

Mike Cullen from Kindersley was the day's big winner, and you can expect a full story with him later on today.

In the meantime, check out some great photos from yesterday's event in Kindersley below:
