The Iron Horse Kindersley Klippers were back in action this past weekend with a pair of games at the West Central Events Centre. Kindersley won their first game of the two 6-4 against the Weyburn Red Wings. They were lead by Liam Fraser on Friday night as he scored 4 goals including a natural hat trick in the first period to lead the Klippers to the win. Brett Neumeier had a big game as well collecting 3 assists and Tyler Traptow had a goal and an assist in the win. Ethan Slobodzian got his first win for Kindersley since joining the Klippers from the Nipawin Hawks last week.

The Klippers were right back at it Saturday against the Estevan Bruins who beat them earlier on in the week 4-1 and were looking to avenge the loss. The Klippers had a 2-0 lead early on, but Estevan managed to tie it up in the second before Brett Neumeier scored to give the Klippers the lead. The Bruins tied it up at 3 heading into the third and won the game in overtime 5-4 to beat the Klippers for the second time. Captain Brendon Borbely lead Kindersley with 2 goals and an assist in the loss. Isaiah Thomas scored the overtime goal for the Bruins with under a minute to play to beat the Klippers. Kindersley will start a 4 game road trip tomorrow night in Yorkton.
