The Rosetown senior Redwings are heading back into the Sask Valley Hockey league after a 2 year absence. Rosetown is rejoining the league jumping the team total from 10 teams last year up to 12 this year as Dinsmore plans to rejoin the league as well.

The SVHL is planning to start up once again in early November with the 1st being the opening night for the league. The Kyle Elks won the league for the 4th time in 6 years defeating the Eston Ramblers in 5 games to win the championship. Rosetown last played in the league for the 2016-17 season going 3-14-1 in 18 games. The Redwings won the league in 2015 and haven’t played in the league for 2 years because of the success of the senior AAA Redwings in Allan Cup West.
