The latest RCMP Report from Rosetown for May 28-June 4, 2020, includes a collision involving an animal, 2 welfare checks, and a suspicious vehicle call.

On the night of May 28th, Rosetown RCMP were dispatched to collision involving an animal in the RM of St. Andrews. No injuries, minor damage to the vehicle.

Between the dates of May 28th and June 4th, Rosetown RCMP were called to 5 animal related calls involving missing animals and animals on the highway, causing traffic safety concerns.

In the early hours of May 30th, Rosetown RCMP received a call regarding a conflict between residents in the RM of Harris. A Member attended and after mediation, all ended peacefully. There was insufficient evidence for charges. Later on the 30th, Rosetown RCMP were called to 2 welfare checks, and in one matter members assisted the family with having a member of the family seek medical care. As for the other matter, members attended and checked on a resident that was scared for their safety and upon attendance found that all was well and no further action was needed.

On the night of June 6th, Rosetown RCMP reported a suspicious vehicle parked behind a business. Members attended. There was no vehicle in the area upon attendance. Rosetown RCMP continue to urge residents to report any suspicious activity, persons or vehicles in the rural and urban areas.

Five false alarms were attended and 41 traffic related tickets were issued.
