The Kindersley Fire Department responded to a call at approximately 2:30 this afternoon for a possible structure fire at the Canalta Hotel in Kindersley.

Fire Chief, Ron Hope, stated upon arrival they became aware of a fire in one of the hotel rooms on the fourth floor. He reported that the firemen were able to gain access quickly and were able to contain the fire to the room and was extinguished a short while after.

Fire Chief Hope added that they are not aware of the cause of the fire at this time and no injuries were sustained.
