Over the weekend close to 600 people showed up in support of Outlooks 10th annual TeleMiracle Hockey fundraiser. This is the largest crowd the group has seen since the fundraiser began back in 2009.

The crowd came out to cheer on all those who signed up to be apart of the hockey day. Each participant needed to raise a minimum of forty dollars for TeleMiracle. The skaters consisted of many different age groups starting from 9yrs old all the way up to senior aged hockey players.

Brent Larwood, Teacher and organizer of the event for the past ten years said, "The event continues to grow each and every year. It's something that the kids look forward to now and begin asking about it right from the start of the school year. For most of them it's the biggest hockey game of their lives. When you have hundreds of people cheering for you from the stands it's a pretty great feeling."

Spectators where able to make personal donations throughout the day as a silver donation was set up at the concession. Although Larwood has not yet heard what the total amount raised for TeleMiracle is yet, he is certain that it will be the largest amount so far since the fundraiser first started hoping to break two thousand dollars.
