The Town of Kindersley has announced a precautionary drinking water advisory after repairs were made to a water leak in the Industrial Area yesterday.

This advisory affects the Water Vending Station, as well as occupants of the Open Camp Lodge and Ish Energy, the only other users of the affected line.

The repairs were completed this morning, and the advisory is now in effect for users until further notice.

Town officials have created the advisory until the water can be adequately tested for health quality.

Once test results are received from the Saskatchewan Environment (typically within two to three days), indicating the water passes provincial quality standards, the precautionary drinking water advisory will be lifted.
