The A and AAA ranks joined this weeks edition of AA Wednesdays.

Twelve teams were in attendance on Saturday, December 2 in Rosetown. Things started off with a U9 minor hockey game as one of three A matchups. The U13 and U15 AA Western Prairie Thunder games were sandwiched in-between. The day then finished off with a AAA game between Swift Current and Saskatoon featuring local players Paige Fischer and Brielle Minish.

Below are the scores from Saturday, via one of the tournament organizers Blair Wingert.

  • U18 AAA --- Swift Current Wildcats 3 vs Saskatoon Stars 2

  • U15 AA --- Western Prairie Thunder 5 vs Swift Current Wildcats 2

  • U13 AA --- Western Prairie Thunder 5 vs Saskatoon Comet Fury 2

  • U15A --- Western Prairie Redwings 3 vs PA Beachcomber Foxes 4

  • U11 --- Western Prairie Redwings 2 vs Western Prairie Aces 1

  • U9 --- Western Prairie Redwings 14 vs Western Prairie Aces 1

Wingert shared his favourite part of the day while getting back to WestCentralOnline about the event. It was a great day for all levels of female hockey.

"The highlight of the day might have been the 5 minute inter-squad game the U7’s played in the first intermission of the U18 AAA game."
