The latest joint RCMP report for Unity, Macklin, and Wilkie includes incidents between May 14th and 20th. The report contains but is not limited to:

UNITY REPORTS 

  • RCMP conducted a property check at the request of a neighbor. 

  • A 50-year-old male from Unity was charged with Assault and Fail to Comply with Probation Order after Members received a complaint of assault. 

  • Members issued a seven-day roadside suspension during a traffic stop. 

  • Police received a complaint of theft.  This matter is still under investigation. 

  • CN Police reported a railway crossing malfunction in Unity.  Reported for information purposes. 

  • RCMP received a complaint of an unwanted individual at a business.  Members attended and ensured the individual left the premises. 

  • Members are investigating a complaint of fraud. 

  • Police received a complaint of assault.  Members attended but the complainant requested no further action be taken. 

  • RCMP received a report of smoke near Unity.  Unity Fire Department also attended.  No fire was located. 

  • There were also two traffic complaints, one false 911 call and one false alarm. 

WILKIE REPORT 

  • RCMP received a report of spray paint on the sidewalk in Wilkie.  This matter is still under investigation. 

  • Police received a report of two kids in the ditch near the highway by Landis.  Members located the youth who were assisting an adult with yard work. 

  • Members are investigating a complaint of uttering threats. 

  • RCMP received a complaint of an individual not complying with a release order.  This matter is still under investigation. 

  • Members are investigating a property dispute. 

  • Police received another complaint of an individual not complying with a release order.  This matter is still under investigation. 

  • A 41-year-old female from Wilkie was charged with Fail to Comply with Release Order Condition after Members received a report of an individual breaching a release order. 

  • Members conducted a wellbeing check at the request of a family friend. 

  • RCMP received a complaint of theft from a motor vehicle.  This matter is still under investigation. 

  • There were also three traffic complaints. 

MACKLIN REPORT 

  • RCMP received a complaint of theft.  This matter is still under investigation. 

  • Members acted as mediators in a dispute between two adults. 

  • Police served a subpoena to an individual in the Detachment area at the request of a Crown Prosecution Office. 

  • RCMP received a complaint of theft but there was insufficient evidence to proceed. 

  • Members issued a 60-day roadside suspension during a traffic stop. 

  • Police received a complaint of assault.  Members attended but the complainant requested no further action be taken. 

  • RCMP issued a 21-day roadside suspension after Members received a traffic complaint. 

  • Members are investigating a complaint of a stolen truck near Denzil. 

  • Police received a Mental Health Act complaint.  Members spoke to the subject of complaint. 

  • RCMP received another Mental Health Act complaint.  Members spoke to the subject of complaint. 

  • There were also three traffic complaints and two false alarms.
