The Royal Air Cadets held their annual award ceremony night on Thursday evening to wrap up the season. From September to May, the members participate in many functions throughout the community, and are recognized for their accomplishments and work ethic at the final ceremony.

The turnout from this year's awards ceremony had close to 50 people to watch the award show. This was the biggest turnout in the last 5 years.

The current Commanding Officer Captain Melanie Sittler is resigning from her position effective after the 2018 training year. There are normally 2-3 commanding officers that are in charge of the system.

Biggar Royal Air Cadets stay busy throughout the entire seasons by hosting parades in the town of Biggar every week, and have traveled throughout Saskatchewan as well as Alberta and Manitoba.
