The Kindersley Composite High School held a week long Spring Camp following the May Long weekend to help prepare for the 2017 season in the fall.

The camp saw Grade 12 students participate with helping out in drills, and other activities before they plan on graduating in one month. Former students who played on the high school football team came out as well.

Last season, Kindersley Composite High School competed in the 9-man C2 division where they finished second in their division with 4 wins and 2 losses. Next season, Kindersley looks to take down the team from Warman who went undefeated last season.

Spring Camp is a great way for students who will be performing next season to get a chance to get back into a groove, and touch up on some drills, and procedures of football. The training camp aspect will begin in August, a couple weeks before school starts to practice. It gives coaches an idea of what the next season has to offer regarding numbers, talent and skill.

Some Grade 12 students and former players love coming out to the Spring Camp, and helping out in practice because of the love for the game and program. Some of these former students have shown interest in coaching on the sidelines, or being a part of the team anyway they know how. The coaches and players share a special bond on the field during the season and continue to connect following the years.
