Jose Bautista advanced his league leading home run total yesterday when he hit his 24th this season against the Boston Red Sox.

Boston Red Sox manager Terry Francona, left, is restrained by third base umpire Larry Vanover after being ejected from the game by home plate umpire Jeff Kellogg during seventh inning AL action against the Toronto Blue Jays in Toronto.

Although Bautista is top of the league for home runs, he was snubbed in favour of New York Yankees outfielder Nick Swisher for the American League's final spot in Monday's home run derby.

Alex Gonzalez and Adam Lind also caught some out of the park air in the Toronto Blue Jay's 9-5 win against the Sox.
