Coming up on Saturday, June 13th, Eaton School will be holding their celebration for the Graduating class of 2020.

Due to the circumstances created by COVID-19, instead of a normal event, this year will see the grads tour around the entire town in a parade held in their honour.

The parade will begin at Eaton School, travel along 6th Avenue, head past the arena towards Main Street, and then progress along a route that will take it down each street in Eatonia, before ending back at the school.

The school is asking that people not travel for the event, and for those who live in town to watch the parade from their front yard as it passes. The students will be in a flat deck trailer, and the school is asking for vehicles to be moved to allow space for the trailer on the streets, and for make corner turns.

The parade begins at 7:30 pm, and residents are encouraged to decorate their windows and yards to honour the graduates.
