Bikers gathered in the town of Eatonia to help raise money for the Heart & Stroke Foundation. A 2 kilometre bike ride around the town made for a workout due to the large winds on Wednesday afternoon, but never got in the way of the positive attitudes laid out by the volunteer bike riders.

A total of 26 Riders joined together for the annual Big Bike Ride, followed with a BBQ Supper to help fund-raise. There was close to 100 people from the town at the supper for a meal, and to help show their appreciation to the bikers.

Although the weather wasn't perfect, there was still a decent sized crowd at the supper which wasn't expected from the organizers. Cora Knuttila, organizer and participator, was very impressed with the overall turnout of bikers from all over the region, and was very happy to see citizens come from all over the place for the supper event.

Over $3,000 was raised from the Big Bike Ride event, and will all be put towards the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
