The Electronic Products Recycling Association (EPRA) is responsible for managing the industry-led and government-approved electronic products recycling program for consumers and businesses in Saskatchewan.

Two things happen when we recycle our electronics: by keeping more waste out of landfills and it creates a sustainable solution of "urban mining" by reusing and recovering precious metals and elements from the old junk. In fact, one tonne of recycled tablets can produce 324 times more gold than one tonne of ore. The EPRA says they have now recycled over 25,000 metric tonnes of end of life electronics since the program started in 2007. That large total is actually more than the combined weight of over 150 Statues of Liberty.
