Every year in Ottawa the Legion presents photo's of war veterans on Remembrance day, which are shown in the Legion's Virtual Wall Of Honor video screens close to the National War Memorial. All images are shown through out Remembrance Day, as well as before and after November 11th.

Recently, members from the Eston Legion have submitted six war veterans from the area to the War Memorial Virtual Wall of Honor. Dennis Lionel Beckstrand, David Buskell, Private William Bell and William "Bill" Marconi Mazzei all of the Army. Earl Leroy Pederson of the Navy and Gerald Aurthur Welsh of the Air Force.

It is yet to be determined was to whether or not any of the photo's from the Eston Legion have been confirmed to appear on the Virtual Wall of Honor, but there is however a good possibility. Veteran's photo's as well as regiment numbers, years of service, and also the branches of the military where submitted to possibly be in the video.

Legion member Loreen Buskell had submitted her father David Buskell's war veteran information to the Virtual Wall of Honor. Legion members are not the only eligible participants to submit information of war veterans, anyone can make submissions of war veteran information to the legion website: www.legion.ca.
