U13

The first action of 2022 started in the U13 division this past Sunday, as the Kindersley U13 Full Tilt Thrashers played the Prairie Predators from Dinsmore and skated to an 8-8 tie. Levi Nordberg had four goals an assist for Kindersley the game. Owen Odermatt had two goals and two assists for the Prairie Predators. The other game on Sunday saw Kindersley 1 knock off Unity White by a score of 9-3. Leading the way for Kindersley 1 was Dayson Kosolofski who had three goals and two assists in the triumph. Cole Hawken had two goals and two assists as well. Jinks Cooper scored twice for Unity White in the defeat.

The U15 portion of the Hi-Way 14 Hockey League also started this past Sunday, with Rosetown playing host to Eston. The U15 Ramblers knocked off the U15 Redwings 7-1. Leading the way for Eston was Cohen Hayes who had two goals and an assist in the victory. Noah Gowen scored Rosetown's lone goal in defeat. Leading the way in the standings for U15 heading into the first weekend of 2022 is Macklin, who is 10-0-1, good enough for first in the North Division. Outlook/Hanley is 8-2, which is leading the South Division of U15. Here are the updated standing as of January 5.

U18

And U18 fired up this past Sunday in the Hi-Way 14 Hockey League, with three games on the schedule. Eston remains unbeaten on the season, as they knocked off Macklin 5-2. Leading the way for the U18 Ramblers were Quintin King and Carver Beckstrand, who scored twice each in the win. Other action saw Dinsmore hammer Rosetown 15-1, with William Campbell leading the way with two goals and three assists, and Otto Lammers with three goals and a helper as well. The last game saw Kindersley defeat Unity 6-2 with Brett Bahm leading the way for Kindersley with two goals and two assists. Colby Kozicki also managed one goal and two assists in the victory.
