Eston resident Pam Kosolofski brought back the "purple pansies for pancreatic cancer" fundraiser this year, wrapping up another successful pick-up day in Kindersley and Eston last week.

Now the total amount raised for 2023 is in with $13,000 being the total amount raised with donations included.

Anyone wondering if they still have a chance for purple pansies are in luck, as the Eatonia coordinator Cora Knuttila shared that people can still order from her as well by calling 306-460-9047.

Kosolofski was just one moving piece when it came to the awesome flowers, as other volunteers travelled as far as Alberta with the special deliveries. She thanked all her wonderful helpers once again this year, and had this message.

"A huge thank you to all who supported the pancreatic cancer  purple pansies fundraiser! Volunteers from all over west-central Saskatchewan and Airdrie Alberta. Owens & Sweitzer Eston for the trailer, Ian Price for driving, the radio for advertising, and especially Oyen Greenhouses for the beautiful neon purple pansies!"
