The second day into May is an unusual time to be on the receiving end of hail in Saskatchewan.

It was around 11:00am on Tuesday morning when the area around Perdue started receiving hail, and it lasted for approximately 20 minutes before finally stopping. The monring started off with rain, and then turned into hail which was a shock to some people.

The hail was about half an inch in diameter, and dind't do enough damage to cause the crops to suffer. The farmers in the surronding area of Perdue are extremely thankful that there won't be any real damage for long term effects.

Other areas around Perdue didn't report any hail by their towns, which meant that it only hailed in a very small area.
