The Badminton High School season began at the start of March, and is now coming into the playoff season.

Throughout the regular season, there are competitive and exhibition matches to give all students a chance to learn the game, and compete at their appropriate level. The season works out the playoffs by hosting a District Tournament with the very best Badminton players in each category to represent their school.

Both of the teams that participated in the District Finals get invited to the Regional Tournament. The West Central District will take their talents to Saskatoon at Walter Murray Collegiate on May 6th in hopes of finding a way to win, and have a chance to go further on in provincials.

Winning Districts is a huge honor for schools all over the district, but the ultimate goal is to win Regionals and have a chance to represent West Central Saskatchewan at the provincial tournament. This year, Provincials will be held in Weyburn, Sask.
