The Kindersley Jr. A Klippers struggled on their first road trip of the season this past weekend, dropping a 7-1 decision to the Nipawin Hawks on Friday night, and then losing 5-3 to the Melfort Mustangs on Saturday.

The lone bright spot for the weekend had to be on Saturday when the Klippers saw each of the Kindersley born players in their lineup collect at least a point. Both Tylin and Ethan Hilbig scored, and Logan Linklater along with both Cobe and Cam Perlinger registered assists.

The Perlinger twins also picked up helpers on the Klippers lone goal scored by Alex Mack to start Friday's game against Nipawin.

The Klippers record on the young season is now 1-3 as they prepare for another road trip this weekend. Kindersley will be taking on the 1-2-1 Estevan Bruins in a Friday/Saturday doubleheader from Affinity Place in Estevan.
