The Iron Horse Kindersley Klippers were back in action this weekend at the WCEC looking to avenge a 4-0 loss to the Notre Dame Hounds on December 19. The Klippers and Hounds went scoreless after one, but Notre Dame got 2 in the 2nd period to take a 2-0 lead into the third period.

Kindersley native Jaxon Georget, and leading scorer Liam Fraser tied the score at 2 halfway through the third, but Hardy Wagner of the Hounds scored at the 12:40 mark to retake the lead. The Klippers tied in late on a goal by Devon Cyr with just over three minutes left and the game went to overtime tied at 3.

Hardy Wagner scored again for Notre Dame at the 3:07 mark of overtime, and the Hounds won 4-3.

The Klippers will have a little break before playing three games at home in 3 days starting against the Melville Millionaires on Friday night at 7:30 from the WCEC and then the Melfort Mustangs on Saturday and Melville once again on Sunday to wrap up the home stand.
