After news broke of a theft investigation in Kerrobert involving Kerrobert Minor Hockey, President Jerry Shepherd shared a statement about the theft.
"It was discovered in January of 2023 that money was being stolen from our organization, from one of our very own board members, we found this out through a self-audit.
We then had an External Agreed Upon Procedures Report done that revealed a substantial amount of money had been taken.
We did file a police report and am happy to say that charges were laid on October 30.
This has been a very emotional time for everyone in our community and am really hoping for some closure."
