The Kindersley Aquatic Centre held their official grand opening yesterday. Although the clouds looked to threaten the day, locals trickled though to take part in the festivities.

Residents were able to come down and enjoy a public swim, cake and a bouncy castle was set up for the kids to play in as well.

Also on site were members from West Central Abilities as they hosted a BBQ to raise funds for projects within the organization. Throughout the days events, they were able to raise $376 in total.

The Kindersley Aquatic Centre has now been open three months and has allowed the Kindersley Swim Club to begin competing again as of this year.
