The annual Senior Girls Kobra Klassic Volleyball Tournament is set to return this weekend with games being held in the Kindersley Composite School Gym.
The tournament brings 6-12 teams to town each year. This year, there are seven teams participating in the tournament with returning schools such as Hepburn, Biggar, Leader, and Plenty. Dinsmore will be participating in the Cobra Classic for the first time while Kindersley will put two teams on the court.
Head Coach for Kindersley Kobra's team black, Amanda Fast, team says that Hepburn and Plenty often bring a strong team with both winning the championship in the past. The Kindersley Cobras have also won but Fast adds it's typically an out of town team who wins.
Fast is expecting strong play from all the teams involved. The tournament begins Friday Afternoon, with games on Saturday and playoffs Sunday. All matches are being played in the KCS Gym.
