Strong winds around the province on Sunday have caused damages to automobiles, structures as well as power outages with winds often exceeding 100 km/h.

Environment Canada issued a wind warning early Sunday morning for many areas in the southern and central areas of Saskatchewan with winds of up to 80 km/h predicted.

By evening, wet conditions also caused automobiles to lose traction on roadways, combined with winds of up to 120 km/h reported in some areas. Winds also toppled trees as well as grain bins as well as structural damages, such as shingles and siding being blown away.
