The Kindersley Jr. Klippers pre-camp fun skates are underway.
Photo via Kindersley Klippers on FacebookThe skates are a precursor to their official hockey school beginning next week at the West Central Events Centre, and then the team's training camp for the upcoming season will begin Friday, September 1 at 4:00 PM.
The Klippers preparations will lead them to their pre-season opener in Humboldt Friday, September 8, starting a home and home against the Broncos that will continue Saturday in Kindersley at 7:30.
Kindersley's second set of games will be another home-and-home against the Battlefords North Stars. The team will be forced into a short turnaround with the third pre-season game in a row slated for Sunday at 2:00 PM. The final game of the pre-season will be played Wednesday, September 13 in Kindersley at 7:30 from the West Central Events Centre.
The Jr. Klippers start the regular season on the road against those same North Stars on September 22.
