The Kindersley Midget Klippers hosted a 14 team tournament this weekend at the West Central Events Centre with great play by all teams. The Battleford Barons won the A side of the tournament.

Unfortunately Kindersley lost out in the B semifinals on Sunday morning which was won by the Calgary Mavericks.

The Midget Klippers will now be on their Christmas break as the team will not play in the Hi-way 14 Hockey league until January 4 in Rosetown against the Midget Redwings at 5:30 at the Rosetown Arena before playing the KDL Midget team in Dodsland on January 5.

Kindersley sits with a 5-4-2 record heading into the Christmas break with Macklin leading the Midget division with a 9-1-1 record and Eston right behind in second with an 8-1-2 mark.
