Boston Maxwell played his U15 to U18 hockey in Saskatoon, and made an appearance for the Humboldt Broncos in 2018. The real start to his SJHL career began in La Ronge after he played 48 games for Battleford AAA. He played parts of 2 seasons with the La Ronge Ice Wolves, before he was traded to Kindersley.

Perhaps the Klippers acquired Maxwell as a steal on the ice, but one thing they got for sure was a player who isn't afraid to be apart of the community.

During his time with the Ice Wolves, he performed with his guitar on stage at the team banquet. This year during quarantine, Boston and his sister put on a driveway concert for his neighbours in Saskatoon. He has been playing the guitar for a long time, and definitely brought it with him to Kindersley.

He donned his jersey and recently put on a show here in Kindersley. at the Caleb Village retirement home. Residents enjoyed a socially distant concert, and certainly gained some admiration for the young hockey player.

"I've played guitar for 10-12 years now, and picked up singing along the way." said Maxwell, "I just kind of put it together to be a part of the community."

The Klippers forward entertained with some classics, and was insisted upon to take a picture in the homes guillotine...not for a lack of performance.

This event was partially done due to the free time that Maxwell and the Klippers have thanks to hockey restrictions in the province. The SJHL recently announced their intent to play, and exhibition games should be on the horizon. Boston and his Klipper teammates have been in town gearing up for the season for nearly a month and a half now, and says they are ready to take out some competitive edge.

"We're excited as a team to get going. We think we have a great team, and everyone is more than excited to start playing games" said Maxwell.
