The Kindersley Klippers could have not gained momentum at a better time.
The team is currently riding a three-game winning streak with 15 games remaining in their schedule; not to mention their next seven games will be on home ice at the West Central Events Centre.
This weekend will feature two games at home against the only club the Klippers have yet to play this season - the Melville Millionaires. Three points seperate the clubs in the league standings with the Mills holding two games in hand. No doubt both games have extra meaning in terms of positioning in the standings as the tail end of the regular season approaches.

The Klippers will look to take advantage of a Millionaires squad who has lost three of their last four games. Although, this is not a team the Klippers can take lightly. Forward Keegan Milligan is the prime offensive weapon for the Mills, leading the team in points and assists while tied for goals with linemate Tucker Scantlebury.
Both goaltenders Brandon Wells and Colby Entz will look to bounce back this weekend as well. Wells currently has the fifth best save percentage in the league at 0.924 per cent despite a losing record. Entz, who is a rookie, has the eighth best percentage at 0.917 per cent while mainting a record of nine wins, six losses with three shutouts on the year.
Scoring has been a key factor during Kindersley's winning streak. But, the latest performances between the pipes have been the main reason for their latest victories. On Wednesday, netminder Nick Trenciansky impressed in a 6-2 win over La Ronge stopping 24 of 26 shots. The night before in Humboldt, Kindersley-born goaltender Justen Close led the Klippers to victory with a 25-save shutout.
The first game is scheduled for Friday night at 7:30 P.M. over in the Events Centre. They will meet up once again Sunday evening at 7:30 P.M. to wrap up the weekend.
