The Long Lake Hockey League along with the Rosetown Redwings get set to start the 2015-16 season.

Playing in a league with few teams, Bruce Smith, manager of the Redwings says teams get to know each other and he's looking forward to the new season.

"I'm looking forward to close games with all of the teams in the Long Lake League this year. We had a chance to play a couple of them last year in the playoffs and they've got a fair bit of parody in that league even though there is only five other teams over there. So i'm expecting it should be a close game. Lanigan's won the league few times over the last few years so it should be a good contest."

The LLHL Redwings will be at home on Saturday when they welcome Lanigan to the Rosetown Arena.

Puck drop is at 8PM.
