The town of Luseland celebrated Canada's 150th Birthday on the July long weekend. Canada Day fell on a Saturday this year, which caused for an entire weekend of patriotic celebration. Many citizens came out to enjoy all types of activities, games and food.

A parade was held, as well as a weekend-long ball tournament. The firework show on Saturday topped off the evening. Throughout the entire weekend, live entertainment and food booths were available.

Hundreds of people showed up to the celebration in red and white to help commemorate the country's anniversary.
