This weekend is the last of three weeks of walk/drive-thru nights at the Kindersley "Museum of Lights". The local museum and tourism centre first welcomed in the public December 8 and 9, continuing last weekend December 15 and 16, now culminating this weekend December 22 and 23.

Organizer Anna Polsfut spoke with WestCentralOnline about the most recent weekend.

"The second week was very successful. We had lots of vehicles through the drive-thru, and then we also had over 100 people again through the front-door on Saturday night for our indoor celebration and walk-thru. We took in about $1300 worth of donations for the museum."

Polsfut explained that the RM of Kindersley sponsored food the first week, and then the Town of Kindersley. As you can see in the photo below, a special guest was on-hand serving hot dogs.

"We had some RM councilors who had come to serve hot dogs, and this weekend we had councilor Galbraith with the Town of Kindersley. They sponsored the hot dogs and will be again this weekend." said Polsfut, hoping for another guest volunteer. "We are hoping that we will have some special guest, but of course it's Christmas time, so there is a lot going on for people."

Polsfut detailed what else people can expect headed into the final weekend.

"We will be doing the wagon rides again. Free hot chocolate and snacks. As long as the weather stays chilly, we should still have a bit of a snow hill back there that we managed to come up with." pitched Polsfut. "It should be a great weekend. We encourage people to bring their families from out of town, and show them what we have here in Kindersley to offer."
