Saskatchewan could have another potash mine in the next few years.

The Gensource Potash Corporation mine will be built in the province, but the exact location is yet to be determined.

Gensource plans to have the mine up and running in the next two years from a $250 million budget raised from pre-sold potash.

The quarter of a million tonne-per-year mine will use a unique method called selective mining which the corporation believes will save a lot of money.

Potash mines usually split the salt and potash after removing the ore which leaves large piles of mine dumps behind as a result.
