The 2017 calendar year is approaching the month of May, however, the weather sometimes does what it wants to do.

Some areas in West Central Saskatchewan woke up on Thursday morning with a fair amount of snow on the streets, which included Rosetown area, Biggar and North Battleford. The snow began overnight in all three of these destinations and continued to snow consistently until close to 11:00am.

Other areas in West Central Saskatchewan can consider themselves lucky considering the weekend forecast is calling for sunshine for a majority of the time. The bright side for the areas that were hit with snow is that they will receive a recovery throughout the weekend with the sun.

Rosetown received approximately 5 cm of Snow.

Biggar received approximately 5 cm of Snow.

North Battleford received approximately 2-4 cm of Snow.
