The Rosetown & District Wheels for Wheels organization held their annual meeting on Monday night at the Rosetown Hospital Board Room.

The Wheels for Wheels foundation's purpose is to help get anyone around the community who is disabled in anyway to where they need to go.

Over the years, the organization has always found a way to gather volunteers and board members who are committed to providing terrific service for a long term solution. There are currently seven board members who are committed and have been with Wheels for Wheels for several years.

Certain topics discussed at the annual meeting were based on ways to find more people in the community that are of service to help drive around. The organization is better off having as many members and volunteers as possible, just to be prepared for busy times during holidays and other busy events.

The board members discussed ideas of getting the word out about what Wheels for Wheels is all about, and informing the community that there are citizens in Rosetown that need to get places, and need assistance to do it. Most members believe getting the word out will help gather new members.
