Delisle Chiefs

The Delisle Chiefs were in action last night against the top team in their division, the Saskatoon Quakers. The Chiefs fell behind the Quakers 2-1 after the first period, but rebounded with a 4 goal outburst in the second to take a 5-2 lead into the final period. The Quakers scored a pair of goals in the third to make it close, but Delisle got a goal as well and won the game 6-4. Austin Linnen had a pair of goals and Chad Westman and Keegan Randell each scored in the victory. Blake Berschiminsky had a big night as well, with a goal and 2 assists.


West Central Rage

The West Central Rage will be on the ice tonight and will be looking to get back in the win column. West Central fell in back to back games on the road this past weekend after beating the Prince Albert Titans on December 1 in Kerrobert. The Rage are set to play the Westleys tonight in Saskatoon before a pair of home games on the weekend starting on Saturday against the Carrot River Thunder. West Central will finish off their weekend on Sunday afternoon against the same Carrot River Thunder team at 2:30 pm from the Kerrobert Memorial Arena.

The Rage are lead offensively by Blake Fennig, who will be heading to the all star game in January for the north division, with 25 points in 22 games. West Central natives Avery Cholin from Kerrobert, and Brayden Schultz from Unity are tied for second on the team in scoring with 13 points. Another West Central area player, Keaton Haynes from Biggar, is the third on the team with 12 points. West Central will look to improve on 4-18-2 record heading into play tonight.
