The West Central Senior Curling District Championships were held in Kyle on February 4th and 5th, with teams competing in three divisions; Boys, Girls, and Mixed.

The boys side saw teams from Outlook, the hosts Kyle, and Marengo, while the girl's side pitted Rosetown against Beechy, and only two teams were present again as Dinsmore played Loreburn in the mixed group.

The girl's category saw Rosetown defeat Beechy in 2 straight games, and in the Mixed/Open category Dinsmore defeated Loreburn in the final in the full best-of-3. Finally, the boy's category saw Outlook defeat Kyle in the final.

The event thanks commissioner Tatum Schneider, and the Kyle Curling Club for hosting the event this year, and it was also noted that the Junior District Championships will be held on Feb. 11/12 in Strongfield.
